Andhra Bank PO Recruitment 2013 - Job and Diploma (PGDBF)

Andhra Bank, a Nationalised Bank with pan India presence has entered into an MOU with Manipal
Global Education Services (MaGE) Bangalore, to provide training in Banking and Finance to
prospective candidates aspiring to join Andhra Bank as Probationary Officers so that they are fully
equipped to discharge their duties effectively from day one of joining the services of the bank.


Eligibility

Candidates who have been shortlisted  after Common  Interviews  held  in January 2013  in the
recruitment process conducted by IBPS through Common Written Examination held on 17.06.2012
for PO/MT- II, and who have not been allotted to any of the Participating organisations.

Educational qualifications

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by
Central Government.

Selection Process

Since there is no separate test to write, applicants will directly move to the next stage that comprises of group discussions & interviews.

Will all applicants be called for GD or whether the bank would shortlist candidates as per their CWE scores is not mentioned.

Training and Internship

Candidates selected in this manner will undergo 9 month classroom training at Manipal university,Bangalore followed by a 3 month internship at any branch of Andhra bank.

On completion of 12 months training, the trainees shall be awarded Post graduate diploma in banking & finance along with their appointment letter to work as PO in Andhra bank.The total emoluments would be approx. Rs.5.08 lacs /year.

The cost of undergoing this course if Rs.3.30 lacs which can be paid by availing a loan  from Andhra bank.

The bond period is 3 years & anyone who quits or resigns from service before this period shall pay back the stipend received + 2 lacs (training cost) + outstanding loan dues.


For meeting your personal requirements during training stage, monthly stipend of Rs.2500 (during 9 months) & Rs.10000 (internship) shall be paid.

How to apply

The application fee of Rs.100 (gen/obc) & Rs.25 (sc/st/pwd) should be paid at Andhra bank branches (or) through NEFT (from any other bank) before August 21. But go for payment of fees after submitting your application online.

1. Obtain the payment receipt.
2. Visit andhrabank.in & click on ‘recruitment section’ to openthe link titled ‘ANDHRA BANK PGDBF PROGRAMME 2013-14’.
3.Fill in your correct details including payment info & click on submit.
4.Take a print of the generated application to submit during interview.
5.Call letters for GD/ PI that contain venue for further selections will be sent via email at a later date.
